Joel has over 30 years combined experience in the commercial construction and energy industries. He is a recognized leader and entrepreneur having served in senior management of several startups. LED Lowcountry was founded in 2013 to provide commercial clients with better lighting for less. Our process starts with a no-obligation energy audit to determine where savings can be achieved. Following the energy audit, we deliver a comprehensive client proposal including product recommendations, installation costs, rebate incentives, trial fixtures, financing options and ROI estimates. Rhonda M. Rudicil, Vice President

Rhonda manages the administrative functions of LED Lowcountry. Her responsibilities include payables & receivables, invoicing, banking and office management. Rhonda also performs onsite energy audits, proposal generation, and product procurement. Before entering the business world, Rhonda served for ten years as a Case Manager for a mental health agency.




Bruce J Trimbur LEED AP, LC, Director of Business Development


Bruce brings a wealth of experience to the lighting retro-efficiency market. His emphasis will be in the digital fixture marketplace with a focus on commercial/retail/hospitality lighting design, controls and implementation. His deep understanding of lighting technology will help facilitate the lighting industry shift to fixtures as a gateway to data stream, controls and the collection of information.  His emphasis is to provide strategic solutions and realistic implementation methods for our customers in the evolving digital fixture market. Bruce is an Industrial Engineer. He holds lighting industry LC and LEED AP professional designations and is a long-term member of the IES-Illuminating Engineering Society.

Gerald W. Helbig CLEP, Sales Associate


Jerry owned and operated a Massachusetts-based turnkey lighting services company called Enercon for 24 years before joining LED Lowcountry. Jerry has experiences providing lighting consulting services for major retailers and utility efficiency programs. Other experience includes serving as Area Manager for Alcoa responsible for training and managing lighting sales teams. He began his lighting career as a Sales Representative for GTE Sylvania — achieving “Hall of Fame” status.  As a sales associate with LED Lowcountry, Jerry uses his extensive experience to continue providing both turnkey lighting and consulting services for industrial/commercial customers.

Dañiel Luna, Lighting Specialist


Dañiel Luna provides project-based design service with a focus on photometric layouts. Her responsibilities include design build (by Luna Lighting) and retrofit applications. 

As a lighting specialist for LED Lowcountry, Dañiel plays a pivotal role with large commercial projects, such as warehouses, aircraft hangers and parking garages. She also provides expertise with general lighting applications and office conversions. Formerly, she was a sales application engineer for Flex Lighting Solutions, an interior designer for Lowe’s and a lead designer for Graybar. Dañiel is a retired construction engineer from the U.S. Army.
